Campbell University's Middle School Curriculum is comprised of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction's standards for teachers and the specialty standards set forth for middle grades. We also are responsible for the content areas in which we teach.

We, as prospective teachers, need to know the expectations put forth by national organizations as well as the areas of study in which our students will be engaged. The State of North Carolina has a published curriculum (known as the Standard Course of Study) that outlines the goals and objectives to be mastered by students and which our candidates must understand and be prepared to teach.

Delve into our Wiki as we summarize our curricular goals and skills identified for our content areas in grades six, seven, and eight.

This Wiki site is a living document and will be added to each Fall to encompass more and more resources for middle level teachers.
